Of all the species whose sperm-borne RNA has been studied, humans may have received the most attention – for obvious reasons. SpermBase supplements this existing research by providing small and large RNA expression data for human whole sperm, and large RNA expression data for human sperm head.
The number of unique genes for each class of large and small RNA are provided in the adjacent table; the relative distributions of each RNA type are also shown.
